Cartiera di Laveno is a paper mill founded in 1954 in an area not far from Lake Maggiore, has always held a prominent position in the panorama of recycled paperboard productions for industrial use.
Since 1999, the company has embarked on a courageous programme of investments, with the gradual reconstruction of the entire production system, which currently represents the greatest advancement in its sector of reference.
Today, Cartiera di Laveno is recognised at a European level as a leading brand in the production of paperboard for tubes and profiles. Indeed, 450 tonnes of finished product come off the production line each day, to be largely exported around the world.
The company has always been very sensitive to issues of environmental sustainability. Over the years, it has invested significant human and financial resources to this end.
We inform you that from 05/02/24 up to January 2025, the road Ss 394 will be closed starting from the Cittiglio Cemetery up to the Laveno Mombello level crossing. The only available road to reach Cartiera Merati is the one marked in green on the map.
